DOSAGE: 1-4 grams per liter of wine. Using more is not recommended.
USAGE: During fermentation they aid color stabilization and during maturation they aid flavoring.
They are inserted into the wine with the use of a separating material (filter, thin grill, pantyhose).
They are not re-usable.
No preparation is necessary. If you have to wash them, use mineral water at room temperature.
Time of operation is 2 to 5 weeks. After that, remove them from the wine. The oak chips effect quicker than the pastilles. The pastilles however may add more body to the wine.
Store in cold and dark, odor free environment.
Maximum storing time: Approximately 1 year
